Finally finished all my assignments for my online class for this week. Next week's assignment is a different story.

These assignments have made me hungry.
Time to do some work for my online class...
I went to the mall earlier (technically, it was yesterday already) with my sister to buy something for our mom, but we both ended up getting something for ourselves too! :)

I love laughtrips!! I love laughing! I just laughed so hard my stomach hurt, but I loved it!!!
I completely forgot about this entry because of the dog incident.

Frost bought a mamey-flavored popsicle the other day. He doesn't know what mamey is but he still bought it. As I've said before, my brother likes trying out new food or new flavors of food. If I was the one who bought the ice pop, I probably would have gotten the watermelon flavor or some other familiar flavors.

Anyway, back to the mamey-flavored popsicle. Based on the picture on the wrapper, mamey looks like the chico fruit. According to Wikipedia (lol, I researched): "The mamey sapote (Pouteria sapota) is a species of tree that is native to southern Mexico" and that "the fruit is eaten raw out of hand or made into milkshakes, smoothies, ice cream, and fruit bars."

So it seems like mamey is a popular fruit and a popular dessert flavor in Latin countries. I can understand, because the ice pop I tasted was really delicious! It almost tasted like melon, and the texture was different, though I'm not sure if it's because of the fruit or how they made the ice cream.

Now I'm wondering how the fruit itself tastes like.
I just got home about an hour ago from another shopping trip, this time with my sister. I spent quite a lot today, huhuhu. But it was still fun! :)

Omg!!! Something scary happened just now.

Okay, so my sister and I were walking down the street outside our house, going to my car (we don't usually walk outside). I parked it in a far place because our street was closed earlier for some roadwork (long story) and since the street has been opened up, I was going to bring my car home.

So we were walking, and then suddenly, a dog was running towards us from across the street! It wasn't like a stray dog walking or something. It was like a pet dog without a leash who saw unfamiliar people and it was just ready to attack us. I know I'm not supposed to run, but I was so scared I started to run away (you know how I don't like dogs). Good thing my sister held my hand and told me to just stay put and not move (I don't know what would've happened if I was alone or if I continued running). But the dog still came near us.

When my sister kinda yelled at the dog, the dog moved back a little. The 2 kids who owned the dog followed it and were just watching! I was stuttering when I told them to get the dog. The younger of the two kids spoke to me in Spanish and I was like, "What??" but I was still concerned with the dog because it was still looking at us. So finally, the 2 kids got the dog and went to their parents (or whoever those adults were) who were just watching from a distance (they didn't even tell the kids to get the dog when they saw us not moving!). My sister and I waited until the dog got away from us before we started walking again towards my car.

I'm still kind of shaking right now while typing this! Arghhhhhh dogs!!!
I bought some to go food from a Thai restaurant this afternoon. The server, who is Thai and was so nice, asked me if I was Thai. She said I look like one.

In the past, especially in my former job, I've been told that I look either Japanese (!!), Korean (!!), or Hawaiian. Sometimes, I would be mistaken as a Mexican (or maybe as someone from other Spanish-speaking countries) so people talk to me in Spanish. The funny thing is, when I talk to them in English after they speak to me in Spanish, they still answer me in Spanish! I'm like, hello, I don't speak Spanish! Lol. However, I'm glad that there are some foreigners who correctly say that I'm Filipino.

All I can say is, I'm proud to be a Filipino! :)

Ugh. I heard the song Nobody again. I don't like that song, both the English and the Korean versions. Good thing they don't play it in radio stations here.

It's still early (at least for me) but I'm already sleepy since I had to wake up early for school. So far, I'm liking going to school early in the morning since it isn't that hot yet and I get to go home early. I have time to do things and sleep and laze around after school. In fact, after school earlier, my mom and I went shopping. Fun!!! :)

I'm glad I chose this schedule instead of the other schedule I made which would start at 1 and end at 6:45 pm. I didn't choose that because I don't really like staying in school after 5 and I figured it would be hard to find a parking spot. Also, I'm so happy that my professors don't require expensive books. I got to save a lot on books. Yey!
First day of school later. My classes start at 8:30 am. Yikes! I have to wake up early. Can I do it? Yes I can, I have to!

Awww, I just heard If I Ain't Got You on the radio. I wanted to write about this as soon as I heard the intro of the song (why are my entries for today all about intros of songs?) but of course, I had to sing along to the song first (second voice, according to Liqliq)! Hahaha!

I wanted to write about this song because it brought so much memories of my third year in high school. This song was one of the popular songs during my Junior year. I remember My Boo was also popular that time, especially in our classroom.

Oh, how I loved loved loved my third year in high school! I loved my classmates and my teachers and everything that happened; but of course, I super love, and I'm thankful for, all the friends I made (shout out to sept! Love you girls!). :)
Is it just me or does the intro of Already Gone sound the same as the intro of Halo? Whenever I hear Already Gone, I always expect the first lyrics to be: "Remember those walls I built..."

I just came back from the barbecue/pool party like an hour ago. I didn't think we would go home this late. But I had a lot of fun! I hope we could do this again. :)

Oh, and I was finally able to give Trinh and Hiba my gifts for their birthdays, which were 4 and 3 months ago, respectively. Hahaha! I bought the gifts 3 months ago but I wasn't able to give the gifts to them before going to the Philippines so I had to wait till I came back. Haha!

I'm going to a barbecue/pool party with some friends from work later. What to wear, what to wear?
I love chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream! My favorite part is the cookie dough. I can eat it even without the ice cream.

I first tasted cookie dough in an ice cream when we ate at Cold Rock in Greenbelt during my visit to the Philippines. You can choose whatever ice cream flavor you want and your mix-ins. The person there suggested that we try cookie dough as one of the mix-ins, but I was hesitant because it was uncooked and I wasn't sure what it would taste like. But Frost, being the adventurous foodie that he is, said we should try it. So we did, and I loved it! The ice cream was kind of expensive and it wasn't super extraordinary but it was the cookie dough that won my heart (and my taste buds).

When I went to the supermarket a few weeks ago, I bought chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. I bought another pint the other day, and I found myself digging in to find a cookie dough just a few minutes ago. Haha!

Work was kinda boring today. Nothing exciting happened; but then again, nothing super exciting really ever happens.
I just ate cereal before going to bed. Isn't cereal usually eaten for breakfast? I'm so weird. I eat before sleeping but I don't eat breakfast since I'm usually sleeping. If I have to go out, I am always in a hurry to even eat proper breakfast. I usually just bring something easy to eat so I can eat while driving.

Anyway, time to hit the sack. I have to go to work tomorrow (more like later). Kisses!

I went to have a haircut a while ago. My bangs are even shorter than when I had it the first time and my hair is shorter too. I was surprised that the person who cut my hair wasn't a girl. He wasn't even gay. He's a man, a black man actually. But he was pretty good and very nice too. He did everything I told him to do. He kept saying I have a lot of hair (true) but that it's pretty (not true, lol!). But he said better to have a lot of hair than thinning hair, which I think is true.
Yey! I received some good news today when I went to my dentist earlier. :)
Finally! After much thinking of whether to have a blog, and after more thinking of what to name it, I have finally decided on this blog name. Actually, Blogger decided for me. I've thought of sooo many names but everything has been taken, even the most bizarre ones! I'm not exactly fond of this name but since most of the ones I've thought of have already been taken, I did not have a lot of choices left.

So anyway, this blog is intended to be a journal of whatever I think of writing and sharing. I miss writing and sometimes I just want to write whatever I'm thinking or whatever is happening/happened to me, even if no one reads it. This will probably be like my Twitter account. I'd just blog about short thoughts that come to my mind.

So there. :)
